BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Faces Near Tragedy in Taiwan Concert “Fans Surrounded Her Like a Riot”

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo was reportedly close to a stampede during her world tour in Taiwan.

Taiwan’s media outlet ‘ETtoday’ reported on the 23rd (local time) that Jisoo was on stage for the encore with security guards when 9,500 fans surrounded her like a riot.

At the time, Jisoo had planned to take a lap around the concert hall to greet fans, but it was reported that the audience rushed toward her, leaving their seats and creating a terrifying situation.

For safety reasons, Jisoo returned to the stage and calmed down the crowd. She reportedly told fans, “I wanted to look around a little more, but the staff said it was too dangerous. I was worried that fans might get hurt.”

The atmosphere at the concert was extremely intense, and Jisoo, acknowledging the fans’ enthusiasm, said, “It’s my personal concert, so I can do whatever I want,” and even held an impromptu additional stage for the Taiwanese fans.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is currently holding her solo tour, ‘LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION!’ after 9 years since her solo debut.
