BTS J-Hope to Release Two More Solo Songs This Year… “All Will Have Different Styles”

BTS’s J-Hope will release two more solo songs this year in addition to his digital single Sweet Dreams, which was released on the 7th.

J-Hope revealed this on March 11 during a live broadcast on the fan platform Weverse.

He mentioned, “Interestingly, all three songs will have different styles,” and added, “While working on the album in the U.S., I thought about what kind of music you all would like, and the answer was ‘good music.’”

He explained that the singles he is releasing this year are helping him establish his musical direction, which will have a significant impact on his next solo full-length album.

Before the release of his new track, J-Hope held a 12-hour live broadcast on Weverse on the 6th and hosted an on/offline event Sweet Dreamland on the release day, the 7th, to engage with fans.

He then traveled to the U.S., where from March 9–10, he held a popup event Sweet Dreams Flowers at Genesis House in New York, showcasing flowers he personally selected and handwritten message cards for his fans.

In addition, J-Hope collaborated with the famous U.S. bakery Magnolia Bakery to release cupcakes and banana pudding inspired by the mood of his new song. He also appeared on variety shows like MBC’s I Live Alone and JTBC’s Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.

J-Hope is also set to become the first Korean solo artist to embark on a North American tour, which includes a stop at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
